A very special screening of the film will take place in Los Angeles on Wednesday December 3rd. The screening will be in honor of World AIDS Day and is being presented by OutFest Wednesdays.

DC Hosts 2009 IGLFA Gay Soccer World Championships

The Washington DC area is quickly becoming a haven for gay sports tournaments. This year, the city successfully hosted the International Gay & Lesbian Aquatics championships, and now the International Gay Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) has named the Federal Triangles Soccer Club (FTSC) out of DC as the hosts of the 2009 Gay Soccer World Championships.

Federation of Gay Games Annual Meeting in Cape Town, South Africa

This year’s forum will take place from October 20-25 in Cape Town and will feature two days for board meetings, one day for various committee meetings and three days of meetings for the General Assembly. TOGS, the national LGBT sports organization of South Africa, organized the FGG annual meeting.

Boston Gay Men's Chorus Hosts Ireland's Only Gay and Lesbian Chorus

The 150-voice Boston Gay Men's Chorus will host a concert titled From Dublin to Boston featuring Glória, the only gay or lesbian chorus in the country of Ireland, in a special Boston concert on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 8pm at Arlington Street Church, 351 Boylston Street, Boston. The program will also include sets by the BGMC and Boston's women's chorus Voices Rising.

4th Annual Images In Advertising Awards

Commercial Closet Association has announced the nominees for the 4th annual Images In Advertising Awards, recognizing companies that best demonstrated inclusion of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals (GLBT) in mainstream advertising campaigns that appeared in 2007. The award winners will be announced during a ceremony on July 28 at New World Stages in New York City.
